TeleMadrid : The Cantoblanco Hospital , dependent on La Paz, has been the scene this Tuesday of the first drone flight for the transport of medical supplies , within a pioneering project in Spain that pursues the transport of small equipment, medicines and samples with these remotely piloted devices .

The drill consisted of the transfer of a load of medicines from the aforementioned health center , successfully crossing the Valdelatas forest and later returning to the starting point.
The demonstration has made it possible to obtain a global vision of, among other issues, the time, cost, logistic traceability and carbon dioxide emissions that are avoided, as well as the operational capacities that this system offers in urban areas compared to conventional means.
With this exhibition the first phase of the so-called Emergency Air Logistics for Hospitals and Public Organizations (Ale-Hop) ends , in which the Community of Madrid collaborates with a public-private consortium, the regional government has highlighted in a statement .
Now the second phase begins, which will consist of achieving the movement without direct vision of these devices so that they automatically leave these products for optional use in the corresponding lockers of some intelligent ticket office.
These devices, through a mobile application, allow the opening, loading and weighing of this equipment to be carried out without manual intervention.
The Ale-Hop project is financed with European Regional Development Funds (Feder), through the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, channeled by Innovative Business Groups (AEI) such as the Spanish Logistics Center (CEL) and the Center for Innovation for Logistics and Transport (Citet). The companies Bluenest, Cloud District and NTT Data also participate in this framework.
