ArgenTech Solutions was proud to participate in the 2025 World Food Programme (WFP) Simulation Exercise (SimEX) in Bangula, Nsanje, Malawi — a multi-agency disaster response event focused on flood and disease outbreak scenarios in Southern Africa.

All flights during the exercise were executed by ArgenTech’s locally trained Malawian UAV operators, supported by team members from Australia and the U.S. — demonstrating our commitment to sustainable, community-led UAV programs.
At SimEX, ArgenTech showcased how UAVs deliver real, outcome-driven impact in both standard and emergency response — from the rapid delivery of medical supplies to data-backed planning for infrastructure assessment, displacement, and disease outbreak response.
Using Kite Aero’s Kite UAV and AXIOM software, ArgenTech conducted two live missions:
1. Medical Delivery
ArgenTech completed a BVLOS delivery of essential medicines to a rural health facility, simulating real-world access challenges during seasonal floods and outbreaks. UAVs play a vital role in ensuring continuous medical access when ground logistics break down.
2. Mapping for Emergency Planning
A custom photogrammetry solution was deployed to capture HD imagery and video of a simulated flood-damaged bridge and surrounding areas. Post-flight analysis of this captured data allowed for rapid infrastructure assessment and informed planning for affected communities.
